Abstract : The needs of position information in indoor environments are growing these days. Several indoor navigation systems have been studied. Among them, pseudolite based indoor positioning system is one of the best systems to get precise positions. However, the installation of pseudolite-based indoor navigation system is very hard because of the calibration of pseudolite antenna position is a complicated work. To make a precise calibration, we have to use carrier phase measurements, and whenever we consider carrier phase measurements, the cycle ambiguity problem appears. In this paper, a new approach to calibrate positions of pseudolite antennas is proposed. Introducing multi-antenna, the ambiguity can be eliminated epoch by epoch for every single carrier phase measurement. Moreover, the number of calibration points can be reduced down to 3 by use of measurements collected at unknown positions. Using proposed methods, the process of collection of carrier phase measurements becomes considerably simple and comfort. Simulation results are presented to verify proposed algorithms.
